Atlantis, the lost continent, a long gone civilization from an ancient age, it has been a great source of inspiration for long centuries, poets and madmen dreaming with the powerful spires of the Atlantean Empire and the technosorcery which fuelled a social utopia.
Perhaps one of the best artworks about Atlantis is that found in the discography of the Symphonic metal group known as Bal-Sagoth, with "Dreaming of Atlantean Spires" from the Album "A Black Moon broods over Lemuria", being that song the fuel for this drawing of mine, the landscape of a massive atlantean coastal city, so large from that distance no ship can be discerned, its massive main spire holding a sphere of power which brings light and energy to their inhabitants, and the acropolis of this city protected by massive walls hundreds of meters high, the night sky is filled with stars and on that age a second moon orbited across the world populated by the atlanteans, while the first one was far closer.
This time I decided to just draw everything with the mouse, since it was a landscape it didnt demand a pencil made sketch, still, I have imagined this atlantean city so many times and even made some previous hand drawings in the back of my notebooks (yes, I make that kind of things there) that it was a rather easy job.
