Following the end of the second tiberian war and with the return of Kane the Brotherhood of Nod spreaded their sphere of influence across the ravaged yellow zones of Earth.

Amongst the different military and civilian programs directed to defend these territories were the militia training program. Nod knew the key to the dominion of a territory was their own people and soon local militia forces were formed and tasked with repelling any GDI presence, although this appeared to be a logical plan in practice the casualties held by these lightly armed groups were so high in the first months of stablishment soon Nod had to redirect their strategies in a more unconventional way, hit and run tactics against harvesting installations, urban warfare and harassment of GDI convoys were far more succesful than fighting in frontal assaults against GDI superior firepower, support and armour.

A late plan which was introduced in 2046 to bring further support to Nod's warfare effort was the Heavy Sniper Militia Program, instead of the usual stream-lined training most yellow zone recruits received in few months the sniper militia forces were planned to be far better trained, better armed and more effective at dealing critical damage on key sections of GDI military war machine.

These snipers were trained to act as lone hunters, disguised amongst the civilian population they tracked down GDI forces and used their collapsible AP Sniper Rifles to neutralize light vehicles and kill GDI officers resulting in confussion and panic.

The results were impressive, despict their small numbers and weak communication lines the snipers ensured a considerable advantage in the sectors where they were deployed, allowing Nod to take the upper hand during the first weeks of the Third Tiberium War, and then making their retreat easier when GDI managed to repel the invasion forces of the blue zones, they also were instrumental during the battle for the Threshold 19, their heavy ammo being many times the only thing capable to stop scrin heavy infantry and GDI powersuits, Kane himself personally ordered to priorize anti-tiberian medical treatment for them after the dangerous expose to this tiberium infested zone.

Although the collapse of the yellow Zones avoided the Brotherhood to standarize them as part of their army, small militia sniper forces have been held, their low casualty rates allowing many of them to "retire" amongst the civilian population or become veterans and train new hand-picked recruits.

An interesting note about these forces is that they must be women and "inpire sympathy", when commenting on a militia sniper profile with a young Nod officer about this requirement Kane simply asked him "Would you really think this friendly girl is that dangerous?"

Ok, yeah, this was pure fanservice, but, come on, I think a bit of this will not hurt, also, at difference of RA3 impossibly funny suits I justified this one so everyone can believe it and accept it, well, so bad these girls werent available for most Nod armies, I want to see someone trying to spam rocket soldiers against them.
